This is the year of Hope 2008 - a vision of all churches all over the country working together to
touch communities.

As a valley we are invited to take part and all our special outreach events, including the Vision Ignition schools week and Reach Puppets “Home and Away” presentation, can come under the Hope 08 umbrella.

Any special events you are planning for Hope 2008 can be included on this website, just let us know! We know there is already going to be a massive commitment from many to the Vision Ignition schools week and concert in September, followed by autumn Youth Alpha, but we could all still be involved in the
“Million Hours of Kindness” initiative or AOK days (acts of kindness days).

The idea being each Sunday morning all the congregations across the valley will be given an Act of kindness for the week encouraging us to be lights in the world, being generous with our time and
talents following in Jesus’ footsteps.

Just imagine how much kindness this could generate, we could flood our valley with good deeds.
The AOK Ideas (link at top) are suggestions for AOK to inspire us to reach out to others.
